AutoStore is a warehouse robot technology company that invented Cube Storage Automation, the densest order fulfilment solution in existence. The company is global, with over 600 installations in more than 30 countries, operating in a wide range of industries. Our creative brief was to elevate the company’s visual identity, presenting AutoStore as an established and progressive competitor in their field of e-commerce, space management and order fulfilment.

Acting as a strategic design partner, we collaborated closely with the AutoStore marketing department to develop a design language that was simultaneously functional and expressive, covering a wide range of applications – from icons and animation to robots and ports.
Spiritual and health focused incense
Project introduction
Incense has been used in ancient Egyptian, Greek and Asian cultures. Incense is typically made up of an aromatic material that produces a scent and a combustible binding material that holds it together. Swell is based on a water metaphor. The moon serves as a way to ventilate incense and just as it controls the swell of the ocean, it also controls the fluctuations of energy in new wave spirituality. The subtle change in weight of the logotype reaffirms this connection.
Challenges
According to market data, Incense is a rapidly increasing market in east asia and the middle east. Although incense exists in the United States, it lacks the presence it has in the east. There is a big opportunity to bring incense to the U.S in a more effective way.
Solution
Swell incense is marketed towards health conscious and spiritual people in the U.S. The amount of scents in the market are overwhelming to choose from and many incense holders do not manage ventilation cleaning. My goal was to create a minimal product that was straightforward. reliable. and relatable. Our primary audience consists of existing cultural users as well as new age spiritualists. To connect with our audience, we chose to include a personalized guided meditation accessible via QR code on the packaging.

Packaging breakdown
The primary packaging is made of Oak made from recycled ship timber and sbs board and the secondary packaging consists of a paper tube, one-sided corrugated E-flute and Neenah environmental paper. The brand language highlights calming feelings and locations such as wharf, seabreeze, and anchor.
